Marlon Jason-Brian Perkins is a senior research officer and GIS consultant with more than eight years of experience at the intersection of spatial analysis, land use planning, and data-driven research. He specializes in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), statistical tools, and field-based research to generate practical, decision-ready insights for planners, regulators, and developers.

Marlon’s portfolio spans land use suitability assessments, socio-economic and community surveys, and the preparation of planning briefs and technical reports to support applications to national regulatory bodies. He is proficient in ArcGIS, QGIS, Locus GIS, and SPSS, and skilled at translating complex spatial and statistical outputs into clear maps, charts, and written narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Beyond technical analysis, Marlon is experienced in coordinating stakeholder consultations, town hall meetings, and community-based data collection processes, ensuring that local knowledge meaningfully informs planning recommendations. He has contributed to more than 100 land use and community surveys to support zoning, infrastructure, and development proposals. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems.
